Units of Inquiry
At Morris Brandon Elementary, our Programme of Inquiry (POI) is designed to spark curiosity and deepen understanding by exploring globally significant ideas. Rooted in the six transdisciplinary themes of the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP), our POI fosters inquiry-based learning that connects subjects in meaningful ways. Through these themes--Who We Are, Where We Are in Place and Time, How We Express Ourselves, How the World Works, How We Organize Ourselves, and Sharing the Planet—students develop critical thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving skills that prepare them to take action as global citizens.
